David James discography

Rodger Bressi plays Fender guitars exclusively . His # 1 is an Ice Blue with matching headstock. Custom shop early 60’s with Lollar pickups, light weight trem bloc from De Temple.

All of Rodger’s guitars have been revamped to his specs by Mike Koontz in Ferndale ,Mi. Of course we would never do these things to a vintage piece therefore that’s why he uses custom shop guitars , “It’s a lot of fun to be involved with the setups and especially once you realize what it is that you really like . Finding Mike has been a blessing, “he is so good at what he does” .If I were in the big leagues , he would be with me .

At an early age Rodger found the sound of a Stratocaster . he traded a original Korina flying V for a 63 sunburst . Being that the V is worth about 165k today there are regrets but just imagine no strat . Naw!!!!. For amps Rodger has found himself completely fulfilled with amp tone from Divided BY 13 . A small amp company in So Cal. Fred Taconne has the MOJO. I must say that all that I have played . some good and some gooder ,but nothing like this, goodest. If there is a “Holy Grail” this is it .I am blessed to own these amps… Rodger uses various analog pedals depending on his mood , he has a pedal of the week .

David James has always played Fender Basses.
His pride and joy is a 1971 Fender Jazz Bass that he has owned since 1987.
He has played it in over 20 countries around the world to over a million people
and on dozens of records. He currently uses a Gallien-Krueger Backline 250
and has used Gallien-Krueger amps exclusively since 1978.

When perfoming solo, David uses a Takamine F-349 accoustic
and also has a '90s model Strat.
